Montgomery, Barnett represents and counsels employers and their insurers with regard to employee disability claims under both the Louisiana Workers' Compensation Statute and the federal Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, as well as the extensions thereto in the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act, the Defense Base Act, and the Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentalities Act.  Additionally, the firm represents employers' unemployment compensation matters in hearings before administrative judges and agencies, including the Louisiana Department of Labor.
