A partner of Montgomery Barnett, Karina Gentinetta is engaged in general civil litigation, concentrating in personal injury for corporate clients and insurance companies.

A member of the Federal Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association and Young Lawyers Association, Ms. Gentinetta is admitted to practice law in all Louisiana state courts and the Louisiana Supreme Court; U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ms. Gentinetta graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Newcomb College of Tulane University and cum laude from Tulane University School of Law, where she earned a Juris Doctor in 1996. As a law school student, Ms. Gentinetta was involved in Moot Court's Junior and Senior Trial Competitions and Trial Advocacy. She joined Montgomery Barnett in 1996.

Ms. Gentinetta is fluent in both Spanish and English.
