Joined Montgomery Barnett in 2001. Graduate of Loyola University School of Law (Juris Doctor, 1998) where he was a member of Loyola's Moot Court; Who's Who in American Law Students; Associate Justice on the SGA's Board of Review; Secretary of The International Law Society and received the Law Clinic's Gillis Long Public Service Award. He studied in Europe at the University of Vienna Law School in Vienna, Austria (1996), and Southern University at New Orleans (Bachelor of Science in Economics/Minors in Finance & Accounting, 1994, Magna Cum Laude). He received the Presidential Excellence Award; National Dean's List Award; highest GPA in Economics; and Most Outstanding Student Award.
As a member of the Council of International Visitors, he collaborated on legislation regarding social security systems in Brazil and Italy; parliamentary laws regarding Aborigines in Australia; and has commented on civil code law versus common law systems in Kenya.
Description of Practice Area:
Engaged in Business and Corporate law, Intellectual Property/Commercial Law, Product Liability and General Litigation Trial and Appellate Practice. Mr. Radcliff has broad experience in Estates and Planning, Administrative Law, Medical Malpractice Defense, Entertainment Law, Employment and Construction Law. He also has experience in gaming issues, zoning and licensing matters, redistricting, corporate real estate transactions, and municipal taxing matters. He has represented several municipalities and agencies in a broad range of governmental matters and is currently general counsel to several private firms and a state board. With both civil and criminal trial experience, Mr. Radcliff has been designated Deputy Assistant Attorney General in relation to his medical malpractice defense work. He has also drafted Continuing Legal Education Programs and conducted several seminars on estate planning, entertainment law and Sarbanes Oxley. Among Mr. Radcliff's clients are some of the most well-respected names in business, politics, sports and the entertainment industry. Mr. Radcliff also authored the 2006 revisions to La..R.S. 37:2441-2465 and co-authored several provisions of the La. Tax Credit Acts for both music and movies.
