Ashley L. Belleau, partner, will be presenting on an Ethics panel at the 25th Anniversary ABA Minority Counsel Program and the National Conference for the Minority Lawyer sponsored by the ABA Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession. Ms. Belleau will speak on the topic, "Should I Post This? The Dangers and Pitfalls of Ethics and Social Media," on May 15, 2013 from 3:45 - 4:30 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans.

Omar K. Mason has been selected as one of only 20 participants representing the National Bar Association at the inaugural Collaborative Bar Leadership Academy (CBLA) to take place this coming June in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is a joint initiative of the American Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association, National Asian Pacific Bar Association, National Bar Association and the National Native American Bar Association. This program is designed to promote minority involvement in leadership roles in the various local and national bar associations, by providing training and networking opportunities between the 100 total participants (20 from each of the 5 national bar associations represented) and facilitators. He will be part of the inaugural class for this initiative.

Ryan M. McCabe has been awarded the Louisiana State Bar Association Hon. Michelle Pitard Wynne Professionalism Award. The award will be presented to him at the LSBA annual meeting in Destin, Florida this June.

Montgomery Barnett has been recognized as a 2013 Go-To-Law Firm for litigation in the Spring Edition of Litigation - a stand-alone supplement distributed with the May editions of Corporate Counsel and The American Lawyer magazines.

Harvey C. Koch, partner, has been recognized in the International Who's Who of Construction Lawyers 2013.

Daniel Lund receives 2012 Boisfontaine Trial Advocacy Award

Daniel Lund, a partner with Montgomery Barnett, L.L.P., is the recipient of the Louisiana Bar Foundation’s (LBF) 2012 Curtis R. Boisfontaine Trial Advocacy Award. This award was presented at the Louisiana State Bar Association’s 71st Annual Meeting in Destin, Fla. The award was established through an endowment to the LBF in memory of Curtis R. Boisfontaine, who served as president of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. Generous donations from Sessions, Fishman, Nathan & Israel, L.L.P., the Boisfontaine family and friends established the fund. Lund will receive a plaque and $1,000 will be donated in his name to the New Orleans Bar Association.
